Pickelhauben Reference Books?

I am new the forum and new to the militaria collecting world in general. I have been reading various forum posts as well as the articles on kaiserbunker and have found them very informative.

Despite all the information found online, I was wondering if members could suggest some quality reference books that focus on pickelhauben or Imperial German militaria in general? I can't read or speak German so I need something printed in English.

Hey Jeff

There are many reference books out there, many of which have information that others don't and vice versa. In a way, each book looks at the subject matter a little differently.

In my opinion I would start with the Verlag Militaira reference books, they have great photos, in depth information and high quality uniform examples.

The books can be expensive and not easily found on sites like Amazon but will worth the money and the hunt.
