1. Sizes:
1.1. Did these exist in sizes as small as "53 1/3"??
1.2. What are the size ranges for the Pickelhaubes & Metalhemes the army adhered to?

2. Markings:
Did War Bond Helmets include Bekleidungsamt & Regimental markings--in addition to Maker/size/date marks--or were these helmets captured straight from their German factories hence remained mint/unissued/unattributed to any clothing depot or regiment?

3. Metalhemnes:
Do some exist without maker's markings engraved at the usual inside the shell underneath the spike? Or could these be attributed to those makers who used to attach a plate between bolts (see below) that could've fallen or been removed with the passing of time?

Thanks!

The smallest "Size Marked" haube I have seen is a 54. However I do own a shell which is probably 53 or smaller. The largest size (JzP) I have owned was a 60cm. I do believe that all manuf of Kurassier or JzP helmets did stamp their name into the helmets or use some other form of ID indicator as in your pic.
