Dear Gentlemen,
I‘m very proud to present my new original Picture of his highness Emperor Wilhelm II, King of Prussia :)
I guess it is a Gift-Frame of 1910-1914, the dimensions are 70cm x 54cm. In any case it seems to be original, untouched at the backside and in an overall good condition. It got a firegilt Crown of the German-Empire on the upper Frameborder and his personal Monogram on the lower one. The picture is signed (unfortunately not readable) and behind Glass, I don‘t know if it is a Print or something like a Coal-Painting. I have to present it to an Expert to get detailed informations about it.

Excellent, I love the crown and monogram, I have never seen that before. :thumb up:

Thank you Gentlemen, I also did not see one like this before. I know Gift-Frames with height around 40mm, but this is the first one with painting measurements :D

This is a signed portrait dated 3rd December 1907

Very nice Photo, thank you for sharing :bravo:
Do you bought it or is there a Family-History behind?

Unfortunately not a family piece, just purchased. The photographer is E. Bieber of Berlin & Hamburg. Next to the date is a written word which is hard to read “ Cidrel “ or “Bidrel”, presumably where the portrait was signed.

A nice piece of history :bravo: I love these Photos of another period and I‘m proud to also own a real Presentation-Frame of Kaiser Wilhelm II. (also just a purchase). It‘s a bit pompous, as preferred by HM Kaiser Wilhelm II. With a gold gilded Crown on top of the Frame and the backside is covered with Moiré-Silk.
