Hey Guys,

Has anybody ever seen or heard of a Pioneer Wurt felt helmet ?
I am rebuilding a felt that has several tears on it and a silver EM plate I have fits perfect on it.

But I have never seen a picture of one in the 25 years that I have been collecting.

Hi Matthew,

It's totally possible.

It could also be 119th or 121st Regiment as well.

I don't recall seeing a silver trimmed Wurt felt helmet either, but that's not to say that they don't exist.

Best Wishes,

Alan

Try this link...its the one on the far right. Its not my photo, just one I found along the way. Looks like a felt pioneer wurt to me...!

Thanks for sharing !

These must be extreamly rare because they do not show them in the Wurttemberg helmet book.

Hi Pickelhauben,
Here is one. Seemingly well marked...

Hey 911,
Thanks for posting.
That must be a new listing.
That felt has an Officer's plate on it !

Other than the markings mine may be more legit than Weitze's
And I paid 1/4 of their posted price !!!

I will post some pics in the restoration column when I get further along.
