Please help me with Pickelhaube identification

Hello everyone,

recently one of my friends died and I got a pickelhaube as an inheritance. I am no expert in this field and have no idea what type of pickelhaube it is, if it is original or reproduction or if someone remade it, added to it some features and so on. All I know is that it is in really bad shape (as you can see on the fotos). If you could help me to get more information on what I got it would be great. Thank you in advance.

David

Hello,
this is a privately purchased, non-military helmet. It's a spiked helmet from the "Executiv-Polizei" (Executive Police) with nickel silver trim, a guilloché leather liner with crenellations, a non-standard military M71 chinstrap, and typical police side reinforcements.

Another clue is the two small holes very close together on the front plate. The faint outline left in the leather, shows a municipal police sign, difficult to identify because they were numerous and diverse.
