Even in its pointless state, this one should pull in some bids.

Wow!! $510 and still with 6 days to go :o ...

Excuse my ignorance, is this an M15?

This will go far into the $2000 range.

No it isn't a m15, there is no documentation of a M15 model for this regiment. The fittings are most likely neusilber.

There is a Filz version, though, isn't there?
Seems like there was a photo of one on the forum or maybe in a book...can't recall which.

Sounds kind of familiar but didn't find anything in any of my books. First thing that popped up in my head was the Johansson book, full of fakes but didn't find it in there. Maybe there is one out there but I haven't seen one.

This is the closest thing so far:

Interestingly, the helmet in that thread seems to have the spine vent way high and the parts are mixed steel and brass.

Yes that one cold be good but it isn't the 115th with the "1621" banner and double laurel leaves wappen. I thought we were talking about that specific regiment.

Here you go gentlemen:

You can also find a portrait of a JR115 soldier wearing the same Filzhelm in the book by Krause.
