Poor picture taking is a waste of everybody's time...(NOT SATIRE)

Why? Why do people take such crappy pictures of something when they are trying to sell it online? Would you buy a car if the only picture you saw was the front fender and tire but nothing else?

So I present this listing for you to (somewhat) look at. Looks promising right? But wait until you want to see more of the inside of the helmet, or a side view, or perhaps an overall view. Nope, you don't get that. Instead you must enjoy random close up pics of a stud or trim and nothing else of real importance. Perhaps the seller doesn't want sell it? Or maybe the seller wants interaction from others, like asking for more pictures or details.

Anyways, feast your eyes of these (partial) pics of a Garde Reiter helmet....and I hope the frustration of not seeing everything bothers you too.

PS I'm probably just in a bad mood..lol

I agree with the previous statement! With all those photos cropped into odd proportions, there is no doubt that the seller is trying to hide something. Maybe he’s hoping that taking close ups of the grime around the rivets will be enough to convince someone that he’s selling the real deal 😂

I often wonder about that, sellers must realise that better pictures normally mean higher prices.

10 years ago, this is the picture the seller posted and I took a chance for 40 euros:

And this is what I got, the seller could have sold for a lot more:
Vorderseite.jpg Markierung.jpg Mottenfrass.jpg

And something similar in 2023, this is what the seller posted:
53 Schulterklappen M14_Ebay 14.12.2022_a.jpg

And this is what I got :):

Not always a bad thing for the buyer with bad pictures, not sure if the same applies to this helmet though ;)

Lars
