These items, Death Skulls or Totenkopf's are soooooo widely copied that I would be very very very skeptical about this item. It is in the design of a early TK and in my opinion it looks like a really bad fake.
The skull rules in popularity in the fake parts market unfortunately on Ebay in the Imperial items category, every week there are a couple fake examples, Husar or Brunswick style. every week.....
