Potential hessian tunic

Good Evening Gentlemen,

A friend of mind has recently purchased this uniform and is not sure of its exact designation, the closest thing I could think of is hessian Dr. 23 however the base tunic doesnt appear to have a green hue to it as you'd expect from that unit. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Do you have another green or black uniform to compare it against? The Hessian Dragoon uniforms can be very dark green, almost black, so it might be worthwhile to compare it against another uniform. Take a look at this one from a Ratisbon auction a few years ago:

Any chance you can have your friend take a few shots of the inside of the tunic I seem to remember seeing this one on Ebay.

Unfortunately it is the only imperial uniform he is currently in possession of but he is quite certain its black in hand.
