PREUßEN EM M1915 PELZMÜTZE Nr. 3 Rathenow

My latest addition to my collection is this 1915 grey fitting EM's Pelzmutze stamped BA III, most likely for Husaren Regiment Nr. 3 Rathenow. The Pelzmutze has the makers mark of "F.H. Thleme 1916 Magdeburg". The seal fur is in great condition, having about 95% of its fur intact. Original chinstrap, Reichs Kokarde, Kolpak, Fangschnur and Feldzeichen. :D

This latest purchase will be my last for a good while because I am making the big move with my girlfriend overseas in March to Cologne, Germany for a good long time most likely. Money must be saved and lots of planning must be made. I wanted to come out for SOS next year and meet some of you but with my schedule it is highly unlikely that will happen. I of course will be around on the forum and we will see what treasures I will find in the future, I hear there might be some haubes in Germany. :wink:

That one is looking a little rough, yes lots of the fur is missing but that big nasty stain on the Kolpak looks really "stinky"!! my girlfriend wouldn't allow that in the house, she likes them to be "pretty". :lol:

A M1894 HR3 Pelzmütze is #2 on my "most Wanted" list.... :sad1:

Look at this Attila from Husaren-Regt. von Zieten (Brandenburgisches) Nr.3 (Rathenow) III Armee Korps.

Absolutely beautiful. Sitting waiting for a Pelzmütze.

What a really nice pelzmütze. A early christmas present for yourself :D

Also a nice atilla (Eigentum?) with officer toggles.
