The seller's handle is right in that he has a cool item, but the second half of the moniker doesn't quite fit the thousand dollar starting bid:

That is where you are sooooo wrong, this a a rare "Fusilier Regiment" Pickelhaube, it says so in the discription:) :lol:
 
The eagle reads, "MIT GOTT FUR KOENIG UND VATERLAND", and the letters FR, for "Fusilier Regiment."


Bwahahahahah. Good one.

But the first one is 100% original and has the whatcha-thingie that everybody looks for. Man... I'm biddin' now and don't try to stop me.

Hey Ron,
Not a bad price for the seller if some one bids, and like you say, the helmet is not bad. I saw a similar Pickelhaube for sale in Arizona, with the front visor missing, I mentioned this to the seller (I think he was asking $700 for this very rare helmet) and was told later that the helmet was seen with the Wappen mounted on the back, thus fixing the missing front visor issue:)
