Private Purchase haube M1891 -M1895 questions

Hi All,

I was wondering if privately purchased pickelhaubes "obey" the rules of the model differences between M1891 and M1895; does a non ventilated rear spine and a bolted wappen on an enlisted mans privately purchesed pickelhaube mean that it is a M1891?

A problem for many of these was conversions. Complete and partial conversions abounded and you could still buy old parts as brand-new from retailers. May we see some pictures?
