Prussia M15 Dragoon ?

I purchased this helmet a year or so ago on eBay, missing the spike top, cockades, chin strap, and wappen. The shellac finish has seen heat as you can see, and it initially had cloth and fuzzy fibers stuck to it from being next to something un-related. I believed it to be Bavarian M15 artillery helmet initially, but the Bavarian wappen loops were the incorrect centers, and a a Prussian dragoon wappen fit well. I since added the wappe, spike top, the cockades, and a chin strap I made. My question, why does the back neck guard not have the additional brad in the mid-section? I have an M15 dragoon which does.

After I posted the above, my mind kicked in and I answered my own question. When I previously attempted to fit a m15 Bavarian wappen to the helmet, I pulled a standard size one out of my parts bin. Remembering that the cavalry and artillery wappen was larger, I removed one from my artillery helmet and it fit. I do find it interesting that the “large” Bavarian wappen and the Prussian dragoon wappen have similar loop centers. Attached photo of some of my m15’s with a standard size Bavarian wappen in front for reference.
