Very hard to tell with these photos, don't you think?

According to seller, dimensions are:
"Approximately 11/16ths for the Id
"Approximately 2 & 1/2 inches for the outside "
Are these valid?

But the weird thing is that when asked for better pictures, they replied: "I do not have the ability to send the high resolution.....the best I can tell you is that these cocardes are original..The red is very faded but there..."

They look good to me Ron. Rusted on the back and with that small lip around the hole for the M91 post. This was caused when they were punched through the metal.
 
Hey Brian,
Were large cockades all made of steel or were some made of (painted) brass as we see from time to time?
What about dimensions (listed above); do these make sense? The inner diameter seems fine give or take a couple of mm but what about the external disk (since I don't have large ones to benchmark)? A regular infantry cockade is 48mm wide; seller says these are 64mm.

The problem is that this is a 9-day auction and the price will climb too high anyway...
 
Baden OR's sometimes made of brass but no others. Officer kokarden brass.....Baden, Wurtt. Modern brass kokarden blanks ready to paint were being sold on Ebay awhile back. Can not help on cav measurements. I had an original pair on my M15 JzP but sold the helme. Others here should be able to help.
 
This is weird:
These Cav. Cockades sold for over $300 not so long ago under a different seller name and now the exact same set using the exact same pics is back for sale by the same seller who seems to have changed his name... :-k
