Prussian Enlisted Man Spike Helmet M/1867

If you're interested in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 and are visiting France, feel free to ask me for a list of museums related to that period.

Thank You very much for the offer!

My last visit to France is long ago, 1995 at Dijon-Longvic. A business trip, military business, flying with the "Cigognes" squadron ... this famous air base is also history today.

Fantastic insights into the subtleties of helmet plate development. Can anyone provide details into how these details might impact field artillery and cuirassier plates of the associated versions?
