All we need is an M1915 chinstrap (1 chance in 100 to find a good one nowadays?), an authentic Prussian Feldzeichen (1 chance in a million...?) and a silly Reichs Cockade (this one's easy but would have to be mint to match) to complete this otherwise VERY NICE Guard Shako...

Anyone selling an M1915 chinstrap and a feldzeichen for less than $200? :-s

Some fine and more complete Shakos are currently offered by the collectors guild :D

You know a couple of years ago I gave one to James at SOS because I didn't need it. I need a Bavarian officer spike. Funny how the parts hunt goes dry sometimes and then all of a sudden… All sorts of them.
 
It's like when I had the chance to buy a Lachmann for a decent price only didn't because it had the wrong spike and soon after, 2 to 3 surfaced on eBay!!

Arghhhh!
