i think its better to make one post with all my pics and questions....sorry for my english , i learned it 35 y ago at school.
last week this spike helmet from an enlisted man came across.
here are my red flags with those bird :
the patina looks fine for me, but imo looks aged with acid at the brass parts
eagle ghost imo to dusty
the spike plate is engraved
no bayonet spike only one for drilling
spike isnt large enough for guard
cocardes repaint?
the stamp i cant find in database....you see i use coulor filters to get a pic from it
