The chinstrap buckles seem fake... Anything else?

Can't wait for someone to explain why a regt that was not entitled to wear a Haarbusche and had a non-removable spike, somehow has a red Haarbusche. Probably the same place he got that shiny new chinstrap? With a Line Eagle Wappen? And is that really a 95 stamp? Pass...

Well, he's also got an M15 EM Shako with what seems to be an Off. Field Badge:

Did all EM helmets with a haarbusche have to have chinscales instead of the leather chinstrap for parade?

There's a recently posted BADEN LEIB-GRENADIER EM HELMET on the AOK site that has the haarbusche + the leather strap. Is that wrong?

Nope. You could have a unit wear a M91 leather chinstrap with a Haarbusche. Some units, however, that had Garde status worn scales for parade, chinstraps at all other times.

Is there a reference book that shows which regiments wore chinstraps for parade?
