Hello Gentlemen,
A friend sent me a close-up of the removable spike base on his Prussian Officer Helmet thus making it an M1915...
I noticed however that the oxidized grey spike fitting isn't bayonet-style (like the 2 ones I've seen on this site) but rather a regular screw-type.
Is this wrong or was it peculiar to certain makers?
