Prussian Kinder Ersatz

This is the only Ersatz Kinder helmet I have ever seen and almost mint. Came from a friend in Germany with a kinder tunic I will post later. He brought me these at SOS. There is a 1916 dated mannequin that came with the set, that I am still waiting on to get here from Germany.

mixture of real parts(kokarden) even has a rear spine that looks real, as most are painted on or fabric. one of my favorite Kinder helmets.

I heard rumors about this helmet at the show, but thought it was just a myth.

Great little helmet, the Wappen looks it maybe based upon a shako plate as to a "full size" helmet one.
