A very nice Prussian M15 shako for sale.

Helmet is solid with all good stitching, no extra holes. wappen held on with original leather tabs. Makers mark inside.

liner in great shape with most of original drawstring and all eyelets are intact.

Original Reich kokarden

Feldzeichen and chinstrap are reproductions.

Nice looking shako

Received and very cool! It's much smaller than I anticipated, but it's a great addition to the collection!
I also bought a Prussian Shako from James a while back that is really small as well but I love it too! Here is mine. As you can see it's about the same size as my Saxon Pickelhaube.

They really had some small heads back then. This is not the case with some of my other pickelhauben, including my JzP and Kurassier metalhelme. The M16 and M18 Stahlhelms I own are also much larger than some of the pickelhauben and the Shako. Also, I like your display!
 
Small sizes survived because all the big one were issued and used. Not that long age a few collector friends and I got together, looking at an original uniform one of them commented about people being " a lot smaller back then". It made me think of the first issue uniforms I received upon entering the military. So I replied, "we were all a lot smaller back then".

Surpingly i still fit into my boot camp issue uniforms haha
