Here are some photos of my Prussian Infantry Mannschaften Schirmmütze:
The Kokarden are the private purchase type held on with bent pins.
It is in very good shape for it's age and only shows slight moth holes:
The interior is not bad, but the soft leather sweatband has turned brittle and has lost some pieces:
The Schirmmütze still has a clear and readable manufacturer's stamp:
It makes for a matched set to this Model 1895 Prussian EM Pickelhaube:
The Pickelhaube shown was my very first. It was purchased by my Dad as a gift in 1965. He paid $6.00 for it. It is the Pickelhaube that started my obsession.
