-I especially love the Tschapka style of headgear.
-in 2000 I lost my only two Helme I had back then...due to...witchcraft...
-In fact my real collection started with my Belgian M1863 other ranks -"Parade"-2de Regiment Lansiers/2nd Lancers Regiment.
-I will post some pics on that one!
*Perhaps an idea to launch a thread on "How it all started" or..."My addiction..."

Yes, congratulations, that is a rare example!

I have a 2nd guard ulan example with a different attachment for the metal mortar board. My old photos have disappeared from the original posting I did here. So many of us were using photobucket which turned out to be a bust and destroyed so many of our fine old threads here when we lost the photos. I'll see if I can find my photos of it on a camera memory card.
