Gents, would this qualify as a M1895 Prussian Pioneer Mann. Ersatz Felt Pickelhaube (with a silver-washed wappen)?

Hi, I recommend to ask him to be sure about the material, I have seen M15 fittings that were polished down to the bare iron and looked all shiny. The part of the rear spine that folds around the neck piece seems to be missing. Also I think it is strange that the chin strap posts are brass and personally I don't like the chin strap itself.

Just ask the seller if a magnet will stick to ANY of the parts. Wappen, spike, rear spine front visor trim etc. A magnet will not stick to nickel silver. However, that is not a shined up M15. That appears to be a nice Ersatz Pionier.

Chinstrap fittings should also be nickel silver.

Hey Tony,
Here's the guy's answer: "Plate NON magnetic, spike NON magnetic along with the base, rear spine NON-magnet except for one small spot (I suspect it is something under the rear spine not the spine itself), the trim non magnetic except for the rivet, and the chinstrap fitting arent, but the cockades are".
What do you think now?
What about that liner, doesn't it seem like it's been replaced or re-stiched?
And Robert is right, the rear spine connector that folds around the neck visor seems gone...
