PSA: Important (bad) news re: DHL shipments to US

It happened to me today

Here is my story ;
I did a trade with a collector friend in Europe
He sent me a package the size of smaller than for a helmet
via UPS . The service was called "Worldwide Express Plus "
it arrived very quick and the sender told me that the cost was 95 Euro
I had to send his package , so I thought I would use the same service to him
I went to the local UPS store with my package that was a little bit larger
and asked for the same service
I was told that they didn't offer that service
and the least expensive charge for sending my package via UPS
was $350.00+ U S Dollars
I passed on that
and got the package ready to send via USPS registered mail
when I got to the P O
I was told they could not offer registered mail
so, I had to send Priority Mail for $85.20
I had shipped via registered mail since 1970
without problems
