This one aint an Officer spike helmet for sure; but what is it exactly? A parts haube?

Looks like somebody stuck a round visor on a 1915 dragoon helmet, put a line infantry bird on it, and painted the steel parts gold.
Maybe the price reflects the mad urge to get hold of the detachable cruciform base and spike. [-(
