Puzzle fun on the horizon

Some time ago I ordered a custom made puzzle as a gift. One where you can upload a family picture or something and they make a puzzle out of it.

I thought it would maybe be fun as well to order one with some pieces of the collection so I can enjoy them in another way as well.

So I took the time to make a picture (there had to be some red in it as well so my French m1884 cap was a must) and the result arrived today.

I sure did.
Or more precisely: I've almost finished it.
It's on my living room table and I work on it a couple of times a week, depending on when I have some time. I must say I really enjoyed "looking" at my helmets in another way. And it's an affordable way as well.

I've added a bottle of beer for comparison.
