Question about fittings chinstrap...

Hi to everyone,
I need your help taking advantage of your deep knowledge....
I'm handling and evaluating my new M95 pickelhaube and my attention was drawn from the kind of the chinstarp side metal fittings.
At first glance I thought they were in brass but looking on the other side they seems in a sort of non magnetic metal... what do you think?

Could it be a tin alloy repair?
It appears to be on the surface.

Looks good to me, but I would ask Clovis57 as he is very experienced with chinstraps.

I see the correct green oxidation on the brass parts, so I agree with Zeb on this one. It looks like a period repair, to me.
But I can be wrong.

Agree with Zeb and Coert, period chinstrap, but probably broken at the side-post key ring. Makeshift soldering, done with tin. I'm thinking of a "trench art" repair.

Looks like someone added a bit of solder to maybe make a tighter fit
