Question about the shoulder strap

Dear colleagues, what do you think about this shoulder-strap? Is it from Imperial Germany or something from the period of the Weimar Republic? Or Chili? Thanks

Are the colors for Baden ?
A wild guess ; a Baden unit before they became part of the Prussian Army ??

Dear Steve,
I dont know..
Baden became part of the German Empire in 1871. Probably, then there were shoulder straps of a different type. We'll be looking for photos.

If Francis sees this and has the time , maybe he can look in his new reference
book and see if any of the early Baden straps had the Baden colors and not the Prussian colors
