Rare books about spiked helmet

Bruno ;
You don't have the 2 Vol set by Larcade ?
They are old , but IMO 2 very good books
Steve McFarland

Larcade produced 2 volumes, one on the Imperial Infantry Regiments and the other Cavalry . I bought mine in the 1980’s straight from a Parisian book store. I got the chairman of my school’s French Department to make the call and arrange the purchase. Larcade’s books were the most definitive pickelhaube texts for decades. Laine’s book is even better as a quick reference when you want to identify a wappen, shoulder board,visor cap etc. If you have a helmet with markings, you can also use Laine to get a bit of History on the Regiment.

Yes of course, Steve, and I own more than one set (and I had the privilege to meet the author), but the original post referred to "Lagarde". I know the books by Lagarde & Michard, but this is a totally different story...
And now, Brian calls him "Lacarde"... poor Jean-Louis!
