THE WHITE METAL BADEN PLATE IS ORIGINAL TO THE SHELL THE BOLT HOLES LINE UP. TOP WITH A SILVER FINISHED WW1 SAXON GUARDE OFFICERS LION FROM A PARADE HELMET. A VERYRARE TOP IN IS FINE UNCLEANED CONDITION.

And he knows its that this is not correct , just a description of the lion and helmet plate

I don't see what the problem is. The seller clearly identifies the parts he is selling. It may be poorly worded, but I don't see any intent to deceive. If it was mine, I would separate the lion and shell and sell them separately, but to each his own.

That is interesting, if you check the seller's feedback, you will see that he has not sold anything in the past, and now he has this helmet and a Patriot missle truck listed for $600,000, I suspect that it is all bogus.

I'd say the helmet is 100% faked, considering all of the other trash on that site. There's a nice side view of a Garde Reiter E.M. Lion on Weitz.
