I can highly recommend the Sundance miniseries "Rebellion" about the Easter Uprising in Dublin in 1916. I thought the production did a solid job with uniforms and equipment. It was also nice to see Michael Collins (in a minor role) played by someone his age. Liam Nesson was decent, but too old for Collins I thought in the movie version.
This mini-series offered a fascinating look at the struggle - but I would have liked to have seen Éamon de Valera against a wall but history turned out differently - then again if he had stayed in NYC he probably would have been a gangster instead of a politician.
