I am posting this link in support of a fund raising campaign being conducted by Norm Christie who is well known here in Canada for his documentaries and battlefield tours of the CEF both in WW1 and WW2. I used Christie's videos numerous times during my years of teaching. Mr Christie worked for the War Graves Commission for 6 years. During that time, he discovered that the bodies of approx 40 CEF 116 Bat. casualties, including a VC winner killed at Vimy were never relocated from their initial burial in a shell hole to a proper cemetery site. The funds are being raised so that ground penetrating radar can be used to locate the remains. The Canadian Govt will do nothing regarding funding until the remains are discovered which is, yet another example of bureaucratic BS and our country's treatment of vets in general.
