References images for Haubes from Mulhouse/Mülhausen regiments

Good shout, Philippe -- alas, this means that I need to rethink my 167 Stein in my Mühlhausen collection...I bought it and when it arrived it said "Kassel," so I was like "Oh well, at least the regiment is also in Mühlhausen," but now I know that two consonants switch places every so often in German placenames and it's totally different 🤣

I'm not sure of this, but when I bought this JzP officer helmet from a very trusted dealer some years ago he said this one was special because the chinscales where blackened thus belonging to the sole regiment with that feature,
at that moment, I was just very happy to score a JzP officer and really did not care for the finish of the chinscales, (so I registered him telling me but could not really care) but as I saw the tread above I though I should post some pictures of my helmet with according to the dealer (he was very respected but passed away last year) blackened chinscales.

I must say the appear not as shiny as the rest of the helmet an as the sliver chinscales on my other silver trimmed officer helmets so he probably was right...
