Hello,

Found in an Amsterdam Bookshop the Regimental History of Hussar Regiment Nr. 8 in bad shape. Bought it anyway and had it restored as original as possible.
Here the result.
Cost me only € 32,00

The next project to be restored is the 10 e Magdeburgische Hussar Regiment. Will be ready in Oktober. :)

Congratulations on the book, but when it comes to the renovation, you presented it a bit incorrectly because the photos do not clearly show the effect of your work.

It's better, but I still have the image of the book before the repair in my mind. The cover of the book is well preserved, the problem is with the spine of the book which was damaged and I would like to see it from this perspective. You fixed that spine and that's not easy, congratulations.

Yes the spine is done very well. In Oktober he is going to restore the Regimental history off the Magdeburgische Husaren Regiment Nr. 10

Did you restore the book yourself or who restored it? I ask because first you wrote “you bought and restored it“ but later you wrote „in october he is going to restore…“.

No i bought it. But i have a person in Holland that restored my books. It only cost me 32,00 euro.

Yes, i have that one. Thank you for letting me know, i appreciate it.

I only must have Husaren Regiment von Schill im Weltkriege, and Wir Husaren 13 1914/1918 Heft2. Then i have all Hussar Regiments. :)
 
Great, I thought you might not have that one, since you have a preference for that regiment.
I alway's look at Ebay DE, because I collect Rangliste books, and regimental history's too.
