Regimental marking 2FsAR, 1915 spike top, not ball

ok, I have tried to figure it out, but will have to show my ignorance...at least I tried. A helmet on Ebay. 1915 Bavarian, grey fitting spike top. A photo shows the mark 2FsAR (unless I am reading it wrong). I logged on to Colonel J's and read thru the non infantry marks, and I guess this is artillery, but if FA is field artillery, I don't know what Fs is? And wonder if it should be a ball top helmet, or if at this point in the war that guideline was not followed? I'm stumped.

Off the top of my head it sounds exactly right to me - Fs is for Fuss . = foot, for 2nd. Foot Artillery Rgt. and the spike may not be original to the helmet but bear in mind that Bavaria made it up as it went along to some extent so it may always have had the ball missing - a bit like Hitler. Is the spike the same patina as the rest of it?
