I have researched this cavalry regiment, The 3rd (Brandenburg) Hussars "von Zieten"--The Zieten Hussars, "Hussars Regiment 'von Zieten' (Brandenburg) No. 3", as well as a number of other cavalry regiments. I have it in "Die deutsche Kavallerie in Krieg und Frieden". In german, gothic font... not easy to decipher. Only one paragraph on August 14.

This regiment was involved with several actions that Army Corps III partook in. That was all part of the German first Army and these guys were internal cavalry to the c they had specific contact at Liege as well as with the BEF. So I would be interested in any research you had – Francis will take it and put it in our dropbox. What great luck this has been!
