Beware of this seller; this is not his first fake...

He once sold me a fake cockade. It looked great on photos but when I received it, it was an obvious fake... I posted this in the thread pertaining to cockades.

Needless to say I immediately returned it but had to open a case in order for him to refund my money.

Its seems a nice helmet indeed, but its clearly a fake as, for example, the chinstrap looks weird as well as the liner. Moreover, I don't like the overall shape of the helmet and the front plate's eagle reminds me of big bird from sesame street :D

Looks like the liner is definitely a re-make or re-placement, modern made.

What's with the funky looking finish on the exterior shell & visors? That's really odd-looking!

There are a lot of red flags on this one. First, the general shape that looks like it's made of hippo hide. Also the side 'lugs' are mushy in detail and obviously 'banged up' to hide the problems. The spike is the wrong shape and the plate needs a diet (look at that crown! ... a turban perhaps?). No grommets behind the plate in the body and I didn't even bother to look closely at the strap of liner, but I think you guys comment on the problems there.
An obvious fake, but still getting better than many.
