I have bought by the net this Tschapka, on my native Lorraine

at the first look, a Tschapka model 1867 of the 9th Uhlan.
After received, Research of the stamps, they are always interesting...
The first stamp :

UR9
1883
1884
already the stamps is on accord with name tag.
second Stamp :

1E
I
first squadron, not according with the name tag, but not so disturbing... The Tschapka could live in a regiment...
A third stamp is very disturbing, and we will look it at the end...
For the plate is "the most common", in reality not, as rare as of the withe plate of the 5,6,8,15 et 16th regiments. Iit seems more common because of its confusion with plates Tschako.
the specificity of plate Tschapka is that they are always reinforced :

wing and thigh partially cut, and reinforcement for the globe (tab or internal splint) on the picture the tab's type.
And for JR92
: the internal splint :

A plate without renforcement it's a Tschako's plate.
the plates are reinforced for use of brass chinscales in the tschapka. And without reinforcement for use leather chinscales in Tschapko
the restaration use only "cold water", hatter's form, and the press Tschapka.
The results : with 3 "before and after" of this Tschaka of the UR9

The last stamp :

2 RUR
1889
I need a reserve plate small modul for all regiment with Reser Kreuz... Hard hard....
Probable history of this Tschaka
1883 : 1st squadron of the UR9 => stamps "1E I"
1884 : 2nd squadron of the UR9 => name tag
1889 : transfert to the 2nd RUR, after the arriving of the new model descirbed bith the AKO of january 1889.
1897 : addition of the Reich kokarde in the 2nd RUR.
and after ????
Reformed according to the subsistence of the name tag of the lancer of the UR9 ?
or used as such in 1914 ?
