Sachsen FAR 48 waffenrock

Error, that was an oversight not giving the links, we were at Heathrow waiting to fly back to Canada today which was an unpleasant experience. So by mistake I posted only the grouping photo. I’ll put those below.

I’m very interested Zebedeus that you appreciate Saxon Artillerie. Is that because of where you live? Or because they just look so good? Both your Saxon FAR Waffenrock are superb examples. Very rare to find a single FAR 28 Tsar Nicholas II of Russia shoulder strap. I’ve never seen a Waffenrock before.

Here is the helmet which is very nicely stamped to FAR12. A great solid heavy helmet https://www.kaisersbunker.com/dunkelblau/helmets/dbh58.htm

The Waffenrock is an old friend of mine, bought from Mohawk Arms in 1981 https://www.kaisersbunker.com/dunkelblau/tunics/dbt23.htm

And one of my favourite Schirmmütze, as I love any Schirmmütze with a leather visor https://www.kaisersbunker.com/dunkelblau/headgear/dbch39.htm

Tony, many thx for your interest.
I must admit that I am passionate about the whole imperial german militaria and not just that.
At one point in my life, I was an artillery officer. Maybe I think that's why I particularly like headdresses and artillery uniforms.

Zeb,

Another amazing condition Waffenrock. I would be one proud peacock to have that in my collection!
