Sachsen FAR Waffenrock mod 1895

In my collection I have this tunic from Kgl. Sachsen FAR
It's a mod 1895 in dunkelgrun wool and ponceaurot piping. The collar and cuffs (with a orizontal panel and two buttons) are in ponceaurot also.
The rear skirt is the sachsen type with four buttons.
The squared sachsen pattern shoulderstraps have a red piping and a Cypher with crown. Somebody can identify the regiment of this tunic that I think be a Kgl.Sachsen Feldartillerie tunic?
Thank you, Giorgio

Giorgio,

This tunic is from the royal Saxon 2. field artillery regiment #28. It was in the XII army corps and garrisoned in Bautzen. Interestingly, the cypher of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia was dropped in 1917 along with the cyphers of all "enemy" rulers.

Unfortunately there is not a stempel of the unit.
There is only the ink stamp of the manufacture " actien ges thiele".
Sorry Tony, I can't help you. Giorgio

No unit marking is actually good for you. Then it can match your Waffenrock.

A problem, is when the right Pickelhaube has the wrong making for your Waffenrock. :happy7:

Hi gentlemans, I catch up another sachsenische artillery jacket and I post it.
This is a uniform of a kanonier in F.A.R. 48 ( 4 Konigl. Sach. Feldartilleire Regiment). This regiment was founded in 1899 and was included in the XII Armee Korp. It had his headquarters's location in Dresden. I hope you like it.
