Hi All,
been I a while since I posted, but finally got to it.
Here is my new salty 36R, or Füsilier-Regiment (Magdeburgisches) Nr. 36 pickelhaube.
The stamps match the ones as found on the article from colonel J:
http://pickelhauben.net/kammerstempel-infantry/
Does the 1B means first Battalion?
The spine base is marked with EH, which is Emil Hagen in my opinion.
There are no double holes, however it has been cleaned a long time ago, the helmet plate has been put back by split pens (that is why the cross of the scepter broke off I assume). It also looks like the Prussian Kokarde is a reichskokarde, as the inner part has a red hue to it. If so which of the two would have been original to the helmet?
Thanks to this site I could find some pictures of the helmet in wear:
Kind regards,
Michel
