I'll access this when I get home, but I'd figure this may be a replica made in Eastern Germany (??). There's a company near Halle that makes good repros. Once again, can't access it, but if there's a return policy, then the smell will most likely give it away as a fake as soon as it's in one's hands. So, looking forward to seeing this tonight. :)
I wish the Wehrmacht would bring these back for ceremonies.

At least its mentioned that it is a museum copy, but its a well made copy indeed. True, the authentic smell of a haube is very difficult to reproduce.

To me, this is a copy made in India, but one of the better ones. The shape of the front visor (especially at the 'corners'), skull ridge/spine, and rear visor (and its angle to the body) are wrong. The best made piece on this helmet is the spike and base, IMO, which would fool many...
