Saxe- Thuringen pickelhaub

With help from you all I hope to build a decent, small collection.
I typically only buy helmets and tunics to display together but I’m too old to be able to spend that much time building displays. It can take years so I hope to stick with pickelhaubes for the near future

I don't know for sure but yes, it does look that way. It also looks like an error but I cant see an officer wearing it that way unless it was plugged and unseen back when.

I owned that helmet pre 1992 .I remember it well .When the front plate is removed it
is clear that front plate has been on there for a long time .I think it to be 100 % correct .
