Offered for sale is a Saxon enlisted pattern Model 1895 Helmet.
Chinstrap is original. It is the type with the riveted ends, instead of the sewn ends. See photos for details.
Saxon kokarde is original.
Reichs kokarde is an older copy.
I do not see any issue markings, because the underside of the back visor was exposed to water at some point and turned the leather dark in the area that was wet. Unfortunately, because of this, I cannot see any depot issue markings.
The liner shows age and wear, as seen in the photos.
There are No Extra Holes behind the frontplate. The Wappen is attached with two leather wedges in the original brass grommet holes.
The back visor has a small area where the stitching has popped lose. This is to the left of the back spine and is approximately 1" in length or a bit less. I have tried to show this area in a close-up photograph.
The Underside of the Front Visor Trim is maker marked: "H. Clemen", as seen in my photograph.
Price: $800 or "Best Offer" plus postage.
USA Postage: $25 for Priority US Mail Postage with Tracking.
I will use the correct code and description on the Customs Paperwork so that you should not have to pay customs upon receiving your helmet. I have done this numerous times for several European forum members here over the years.
Shipment to Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, UK: $75 for 1st Class International Mail Parcel with Tracking.
Shipment to Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand: $85 for 1st Class International Mail Parcel with Tracking.
Thanks,
Alan

There are NOT any Dark Spots on the White Color Ring of this Kokarde! I do not know why there seems to be dark spots when I shot the photograph of this National colors kokarde. There is no dark spotting when seen with the eye. There is no dark spotting in the white ring of the kokarde when I shot the photo of it on the right side of the helmet. Look at the photo of it on the helmet, in the photo lineup above. Thanks, Alan.
