However I doubt that the fire helmet should be used for replacing the brim on this helmet as suggested..
Concerning the style I remembered these gentlemen who were part of an escort for some royal Saxon travel, I think into the Ottoman emipre. This was a reprint, I copied the image from Ebay as a reminder to search for more info some day, hence the writing in it. Different style helmets but I wonder, was there an infantry version?
