Here's a photo postcard I bought recently.

I slightly cropped the bottom edge for purposes here and removed the seller's photo mark, since I was too lazy to re-photo the postcard, and simply used the seller's images here for simplicity and ease.

I often times miss not having a flatbed scanner to use for scanning in my photo collection, versus shooting them with a camera. I should let a few moths out of the wallet and spend a few bucks to buy a nice flatbed scanner.

I can see at least one 22nd Pioneer Batallion shoulder board worn on the soldier, the 2nd one seated to the viewers right from the "Pion-Batl. 22..." sign, in the photo below.

I remember reading a book stating that the Saxons were a live and let live front line army.
Nice seeing a picture of some of the troops.
