Saxon Wappen?

Can anyone tell me if this wappen is original or a fake please??

I only have one Saxon helmet, but this looks fine to me. The colors are reversed on mine because it's a Pioneer helmet (silver star, gold crest) but the front and back of the star look to be manufactured in the same way. My crest is a little different. My helmet is a private purchase so the crown is voided and the details are slightly more sharp. Mine is held on with screws instead of loops, but all that aside, I would not have an issue with this Wappen.

The Wappen is not too clear, but you can use it to judge size, etc.

Hopefully others will add more expertise, but it looks good to me. No tel-tale signs of a repro/fake that I can see.

My vote also goes to the "original" side. I see nothing wrong with it.

Thanks Chaps. Very much appreciated. I thought the two screws holding the centre crest were a bit unusual?
