Schneeschuh Trooper

Fantastic photo! As a life long skier, I can appreciate those bamboo poles and the wood skis with no metal edges for control ...not for this boy!! The wraps around the skis for carrying on the shoulder still used today but of course, Velcro! (y) Note also, the unique side laced boots.
