There where a few pieces I collected together with my late Brother, one piece was a Officer Sea Battalion Shako he had, shown together with a NCO Sea Battalion Shako I picked up later. Rounding out the group is a 1872 Navy Applicants dagger, Imperial Navy officer sword(Ivory Grip) and officer belt belonging to same officer, sword is named. Along with this man's stuff have both his 1st and 2nd class Iron Crosses and some letters from family etc.

Thanks

James

James, very nice shakos but the connection to Paul is of course priceless. I'm sure you'll treasure these the rest of your life.

Thanks Everyone, and Yes Peter you are correct, a group I shared with Paul, so a special memory.

Will post more of this Man's stuff soon.

Beautiful items James! :thumb up:

I remember when Paul brought the officer shako in to the MN show for us to see. A very beautiful piece indeed.

The sword, dagger, and brocade belt are beauties as well.

Best Regards,

Alan
